Week 10 QB and TE Streamers (Yahoo)

in sports •  6 years ago  (edited)

QB 1 - Eli Manning @ San Francisco (18% owned)

Eli Manning has been utter garbage this year. But guys like Blake Bortles prove you don't need to be a good passer to be fantasy relevant. Manning has an excellent matchup vs a 49ers team that ranks 11th worst vs the position. And while the 9ers were able to beat up pretty bad on Oakland, New York has much more talented skill position players and a much better defense to help keep them in the game. They shouldn't have to soley rely on Manning to win this match but I'd expect Manning to be able to dink and dunk his way to a decent outing.

QB 2 - Marcus Mariota vs New England (28% owned)

This is nowhere near the QB we saw in his first 2 seasons but at least in the past 2 weeks he's been somewhat playable. Mariota is now saying he has feeling back in his hand from his week 1 injury. With that in mind, perhaps we can continue to see some progress in what looked like a great NFL prospect. New Englands defense is worse than last season and they currently rank 7th worst vs QBs. If you're desperate taking a flier on Mariota this week isn't a terrible idea.

TE 1 - CJ Uzomah vs New Orleans (23% owned)

Uzomah really disappointed in his last game posting a goose egg after receiving only 4 targets. I still strongly believe that Uzomah could become an every week starter for a fantasy team void of a decent tight end. With that said he doesn't have an excellent matchup against the saints. He does have an injury to AJ Green working in his favor. He is also playing nearly 100% of the Bengals snaps and running a ton of routes, which for tight ends are pretty important numbers. I also still think he's worth a pickup this week because from week 11 on hes facing a slew of tight end friendly teams. If Uzomah is there snatch him up.

TE - 2 Chris Herndon vs Buffalo (13% owned)

Another possible rest of season option, Herndon has been on a bit of a hot streak recently. Some of it could certainly be random acts of football, but if you look at his situation it makes some sense. Rookie QB Sam Darnold, like most young QBs generally tend to target short areas of the field where slot receivers and tight ends occupy. He's also seen an increase of snap share, routes run, and targets over those games. That's not to say he's getting a ton of looks. He's really only seeing around 4 targets a game over his productive 4 game stretch. And really that's a tad skewed since he received 7 in 1 of those games. He's certainly made the most of his opportunities and his role is growing in the offense. The Jets should have plenty of chances to get him the ball this week against a terrible Bills team.

How do you get that cool comic theme in the pics?

I use an app called PicsArt. @offgridlife uses it a lot on scenery pics. Got the idea from him. The filter is oil painting
