PS Kemi - RoPS | 29.06.2017, 18:30 (UTC +3)

Odds: 2.37 - 3.20 - 3.10

A great day. Wonderful day. I wish it was snowing... time for some Jänkäderby!

RoPS will be traveling to the nearby city of Kemi to play against their rival PS Kemi. I still think the 100% real Jänkäderby is played at Rovaniemi when RoPS is hosting the event :) But this will do. In fact we are here (and there is no "Jänkä" around):

Let's look at the table. The amount of games played differ at this point, which is very typical for Veikkausliiga. Exciting times, the teams are very even:

PS Kemi in good form but lost the last one. RoPS is finally playing up to their potential with a healthy squad:

The best goalscorers of PS Kemi:

  • Filip Valencic: 8 goals
  • Mansally Abdoulie: 3 goals
  • Ceesay Momodou & Rasmus Karjalainen: 2 goals

The best goalscorers of RoPS:

  • Taylor, Eze, & Roiha: 3 goals
  • Saku Ylätupa: 2 goals

The pre-lineup of PS Kemi:

  • 12 Forsman Oskari
  • 8 Ojala Matias
  • 62 Laitinen Juuso
  • 2 Aubrey David
  • 26 Kaljumäe Marek
  • 9 Karjalainen Rasmus
  • 23 Hassan Jama Omar
  • 21 Guevara Munoz Sneyder Julian
  • 22 Mansally Abdoulie
  • 24 Salazar Ruis Edwin Ernesto
  • 4 Valencic Filip

The pre-lineup of RoPS:

  • 25 Reguero
  • 30 Addy
  • 47 Hämäläinen Juuso
  • 4 Okkonen Antti
  • 5 Tatomirovic Ivan
  • 15 Väisänen Leo
  • 17 Nurmela Anselmi
  • 14 Muinonen Eetu
  • 8 Taylor Robert
  • 9 Eze
  • 20 Roiha Simo

So... PS Kemi is throwing their best eleven on the field Otherwise the best eleven for PS Kemi but Salazar is a total surprise to be at starting eleven. Many would have anticapated Aalto or Ceesay. The away team is doing almost the same but there is a few changes as well. Hard to say what the best eleven for them is really...

RoPS is missing the defender/midfielder Lassi Järvenpää and a second generation RoPS player (the son of former RoPS and Finnish National Team legend Mika Nurmela) Anselmi Nurmela will replace Saku Ylätupa who did not do so well in the last game and was also troubled with some stomach problems (I still think it was a hangover from the Midsummer parties...). Nurmela has been very good this season. Simo Roiha will replace Timo Stavinski. Aapo Heikkilä is the only long-term injury. No Suspensions.

I am too excited to write more, gotta take my ass to the "field" now!
