The Boston Red Sox just concluded a special season! 108 wins (most in franchise history) and an 11 - 3 record in the post season. Yes 11 -3!
David Price was immense winning two games in the series and 1 in the ALCS. Steve Pearce won the World Series MVP award but for my money it should have been Price. David Price started and won game 2, pitched in relief in game 3, warmed up and almost made an appearance in game 4 and just flat out dominated the Dodgers in game 5 for his second win of the series.
Boston has now won 4 World Series titles in 15 years dating back to the 2004 season! They have started this century off the way they played in the beginning of the last century.
Let's hope we don't have to wait from 2018 until 2104 for another!
