PSG spent €400 million and still didn't progress

It was so sad for Paris-Saint-German after their elimination at the round of 16 of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid. Actually it was not just a mere 2-1 defeat to Madrid at the Parc des Princes, but the it was the manner of the overall 5-2 aggregate loss and Julian Draxler was more critical when he was introduced with 14 minutes to go and the tie was already lost.

Julian Draxler at the interview with 'ZDF' he made a very clear statement of his feelings, saying that though his team PSG played the game back and forth, but they didn't made the right moves by pressing Real Madrid as aspected, saying it's not just all about making passes and waiting for a goal to fall from the sky, i think Julian was really hurt by his team loosing to Madrid, he really complained about his team not having the intensity of facing team like Real Madrid. Could it be because of Neymar's absent that made PSG lost their confidence of facing Madrid?

Draxler also couldn't hold his anger rage at criticising his manager Unai Emery, who says; he still believes PSG will win the Champions League one day. Draxler said they needed to put great pressure on such opponent as Madrid right from the start, but they didn't do that, so he said; they deserved to be eliminated. Could Draxler be laying blames at his manager for the lost or to his team?

Julian Draxlar continued by talking about how they spent €400m and everyone was talking about it, that it was going to change things at PSG, but they still failed getting through this round again. He said further that, despite investing so much on Neymar and Mbappe last summer, it was still useless, all effort and expenditure washed away in just 180 minutes by Real Madrid who are now looking like a real danger in the competition.
