The Belmont Stakes 2018 is June 9, 2018. My pick to win is Justify.
Justify
Justify won the Kentucky Derby by 2.5 lengths. Justify won the Preakness Stakes by a closer margin.
Next up is the Belmont Stakes and the Triple Crown and a place in history.
Justify is undefeated in five starts. Following a win at the Belmont Stakes, Justify will win the Triple Crown and remain undefeated. Only Seattle Slew, the 1977 Triple Crown winner, has the honor of winning the Triple Crown and remaining undefeated.
Justify looks good. He has run well in the sloppiness of the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. However, hopefully Justify will have his chance to run on a clear track at the Belmont Stakes. Justify will show more on a clear track at Belmont than what he showed at those other tracks under sloppy conditions.

The Prediction
At the Preakness Stakes, Justify was racing neck and neck against Good Magic throughout the race. Toward the end, Bravazo and Tenfold came on strong.
On a clear track, Justify will blow out of the gates and lead uncontested throughout the race and finish ahead multiple lengths.
Out of these horses, Bravazo and Hofburg could run together chasing Justify from the start. Tenfold and Vino Rosso could also put on a show.
The race for second place will go to Hofburg with Bravazo close for third.

The Belmont is a longer length with a distance of 1½ miles (12 furlongs), compared to the Kentucky Derby(10 furlongs) and the Preakness(9.5 furlongs). At the Preakness, Bravazo looked like he could have caught Justify if the distance was a little longer. This distance may prove to be an advantage for Bravazo.
