It's so discouraging how age dependably incurs significant damage, yet Ichiro ran about it with class. While I don't take after baseball much myself, I know when I was more youthful I had cohorts who were enormous enthusiasts of him and the Mariners (after all we were in Seattle). Great to see that Ichiro is developing an enduring heritage, however - would like to see him around the city some more!
