According to the latest information from the Real Madrid official site, the Royal team received Zidane's approval in returning to lead the Los Blancos. The contract between Zizou and Real will last until June 2022.
Although this season has not ended yet, it can be said that Real Madrid season is going to end without a trophy after they were eliminated in important arenas such as Champions League, Copa Dey Rey and let Barca create a big gap in La Liga. Because of that, President Perez had many meetings with Zidane to convince Zizou to return. After promising to spend tons of money for Zidane to deliver quality contracts this summer, President Perez received Zidane's nod.
Real officially confirmed they had Zidane's signature. Zizou will return to the Bernabeu after 10 months of resigning as the Los Blancos manager. The contract between Real and Zidane will last until June 2022. Currently, Zidane's salary has not been disclosed, but certainly the French captain will not receive less than the salary previously received. While leading Real earlier, Zidane helped the team win three consecutive Champions League titles, two European Super Cups, two World Club Cups, one La Liga and one Spanish Super Cup.

I think he's gonna do better without Ronaldo. The President has just released some cash for him to spend in the summer transfer, so their will be some high profiled player in the team next season.
