Prediction #5 The Most Underrated Player Of Each NBA team! Western Conference PART 3 (Pacific Division)

in sports •  7 years ago  (edited)

Will this be the division that contains the champions again, sorry Lakers fans! At lot changed for most teams in this division, some familiar faces others joined this division. Here is my take on the underrated, important glue guy on each team.

Pacific Division
Where the spotlights shine bright!

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
I really enjoy seeing them play its just fun to watch, not only fun to watch it brings in the silverware!
I expect them to chase another title like so many others, or can the Rockets or Spurs stop them, maybe OKC?
Really excited to see what will happen this season, the Warriors will play a great opening game playing Houston, just a week from now.

We all know the household names on this team but who would you pick as glue guy? My pick goes to Andre Iguodala, maybe not as underrated as many others on this list but not less important, I really understand why the Warriors made a priority of bringing him back, crucial defender and a great playmaker of the bench.

“keep up the great work Andre, he also played a key role in recruiting Kevin Durant”

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
No more Chris Paul that will be a big adjustment, I must say I understand the Clippers management, the Clippers just couldn’t get far enough in the playoffs, yes there were always injuries but still.

It all on Griffin now, but Griffin needs help, in my other post about break out performers I posted about Milos Teodosic really would like to see him play to understand what he brings to the team. But for the underrated part on this team I will pick Danilo Gallinari, he is just a talented scorer and if healthy I think he will help the Clippers to get the scoring they need. So Danilo it’s your turn to shine in LA.

“don’t get arrogant yet Danilo, show us first!”

LOS ANGELES LAKERS
The Lakers will be celebrating their 70th anniversary with the 2017-2018 season, but what will there be to celebrate, I believe after the season when the free agent pool is full of talent the Lakers will strike gold, but for this season it will just be developing players.

His career is coming to an end but in terms of coaching and developing players as well as being a locker room presence my underrated vote on this team goes to Luol Deng!
If they don’t decide to trade him mid-season to get picks or to start tanking I think he is the guy that can really help them.

“keep smile no matter what happens this year”

PHOENIX SUNS
For the Suns its al about the future with an inexperienced roster that has a lot off potential. Really enjoyed Devin Booker play last year. With his 70 points against the Celtics, he has such great upside!
But in this posts I would like to pick Tyson Chandler, yes people he is still on the roster and teaching the kids how to play the right way. So please continue to mentor them into great players!

“look at him, how friendly I would listen straight away”

SACRAMENTO KINGS
And last but not least from this conference the Sacramento Kings, or maybe they will finish last..
I don’t really feel like putting strong thoughts into this Sacramento team, not even really know what direction they are heading.
All I know is that they have a player ranked 13th on the all-time list of games played! I even saw him play in a tournament during Christmas here in the Netherlands in 1996-1997 when he was playing for North Carolina.
My boy Vince Carter!! You deserve it, very impressed with your career.

“young Vince!”

“he even played with Dell Curry, legend”

The efforts of all players should be appreciated. It's easy to comment on basketball games, but let's not forget that it's a lot of work to form a team. My favorite is Andre Iguodala.

Love Andre! really is key for the Warriors, so many factors indeed to be succesfull in the NBA

My pick for the Clippers would be Patrick Beverley, he's a bulldog out there
Great post

you are right, good pick to! real big heart and competitior. Picked Gallinari because of his socring, they lost by losing Paul.
Tonight I will start posting about the Eastern Conference

Nice post..but Luol is done I'dsay. He won't get many minutes this year as Lakers develop younger guys, Go Iguodala! Go Dubs! :)

So agree he wont get the minutes and even will get traded halfway through the season, bu his experience will be key for the young guys to know how to live like a pro
