Road to Nowhere

This is the main the road to "town" near New Rockford, North Dakota.
I took this picture before going for a morning jog.

I learned quickly, that running is tougher here than in New Jersey.
First, the altitude is different, the high elevation provides less oxygen.

Also, the dirt, is tougher to run on, the surface is kind of like sand.

Last, the running is tough because the landscape barely changes.
I jogged for awhile and had a real tough time gauging the distance.

It was neat, but at the same time, very strange.
