And the story goes on. Auburn as usual making everyone think that they are better than everyone in college football. This is Gus Malzahn we are talking about. The lucky lepercon himself. Auburn has key players and had the team to compete with some of the top CFB teams.
Auburn struggled with LSU soon after trolling them (LSU) for getting beat by Troy State. Auburn had Georgia at home this year. Georgia struggled with minor mistakes during this game which wasn’t going to be a mistake for Coach Kirby Smart come the SEC championship. Auburn also had Alabama at home this year. No matter the situation or the teams records the Iron bowl game is a huge rivalry game where nothing can be expected. Auburns hurry-up offense threw the third best defense in the country for a loop. Stidham Rarely ever threw the ball before attempting a fake Handoff or faked throwing the ball before handing it off repeatedly. Stidham Finishes 21 of 28 for 237 yards. Alabama has countless mistakes on defense but none amounted to the disappointment from the offense. Careless mistakes and errors as well as a few no calls will easily lose you the game.
Alabama left their playoff future in the hands of the college playoff football committee who saw Alabama as a better football team than what they seemed to show in the Iron bowl game. Placing them 4th on the Top Rankings over Ohio States conference win.
Are they overrated? Why is there always hype? Long story short ..Auburn will sit at home and watch both teams they beat, play next Monday in Atlanta.
