I'm so excited.

The reason I'm writing this post so late is because I was celebrating.

This is amazing achievment for a country with 4 million people.

And also, Stipe Miocic is fighting in a few hours.

He is a proud Croatian, too.

Russia was a tough opponent.

I was actually surprised by the way they played.

They played clean and fair, and had few great plays throughout the game.

Especially the first goal.

It was scored by Cheryshev.

Trully beautiful goal.

After that, we managed to come back fast.

Goal scorer for Croatia was Kramaric 8 minutes later.

And after that, no goals were scored until overtime.

We managed to score a goal after the corner.

Scorer was Vida with a header.

And then, the shock for us.

Fernanded scored a header, too.

It was in the 116th minute of the game.

And then, the penalties.

It was our second penalty-shootout in the row.

We didn't want it.

The previous was really exciting.

But, it was easier this time.

They failed to score two times.

We only missed once.

And for the second time in a row, Rakitic was the decider shooter.

He managed to score again.
