Captain Vincent Kompany will leave Manchester City after eleven years. The Belgian returns to his home club RSC Anderlecht.

Vincent Kompany will not renew its contract expiring at the end of June at Manchester City and leave the Sky-blues in the direction of Anderlecht . As the 33-year-old center-back announced on Sunday via Facebook , he will be player-coach at his Belgian home club for the next three years.

"I've decided to take on the challenge as a player-coach at Anderlecht," the Belgian writes.
