This was a real fairytale story, as a small nation that we are, we really have some talent and a special touch for the game! I'm proud of our guys, and also congrats to all the other nations who won a medal in this year's championships.

It was an intense road to gold, but we can take pressure if we keep our heads cool, and not let the opponent dictate the tempo. Every player on the Serbian @team is a @worldclassplayer, as some were injured they had a tough road as well. Balkanish nations rule, also the Croatian @team, a little unlucky in the championships, but never the less, all are great sportsmen! Congrats to us, @team BALKAN!😎

The Final Game

It was such a thrill watching it, maybe I'll go a bit overboard for some reading this, but it was one of the best games I watched! I guess winning makes that happen. Always a close score, Slovenia had a small edge a few times but the Serbs were always close enough and even changed the score in their favor a few times! 3 pointers on both sides, dunks, and fast counter-attack made the game interesting. So much, in fact, it was hard to even check your phone while someone was calling you. The buzz was huge and will be for a few days here. Let me guess which politician will wear the basketball jersey first, lolz. Anyway, there was some bad blood in between but nothing major. It's normal for emotions to come out in such an important game!

The Final Result

We waited 25 years for this day!

But now we became the first team since 1995 to go undefeated in EuroBasket play and win the Final game. Call us Champions!

It's always hard work!

became vulnerable once our 18-year-old sensation Luka Dončić exited with an ankle injury in the third quarter. That opened the door for a late-game comeback, and Serbs went for it in the fourth quarter when our NBA STAR Goran Dragić left the game. Props to Anthony Randolph for keeping it together a few times!

The Beast: Goran Dragić

Dragic put up 35 points in the first three-quarters to put the defense on its heels big time. All the NBA experience came to play in this one, he showed why are the big clubs and NBA in general respects the name GORAN DRAGIĆ! Even tho he gassed, the time he was in made all the difference! Indeed beast mode! Thanks, GOGI!;)

Also won a reward for the most valuable player of the championships! CONGRATS Bossman!
