All these famous "icons" have something in common with Chris Weidman, they all made it for some reason. They will all make it in the history books for their "effort". And they are all from NY. Why so many "s? Later...

Chris Weidman was the middleweight champion after he "defeated" Anderson Silva. Right until 🎅December 12, 2015, when Luke Rockhold snapped his victory streak in half and becoming the new 👑"throne holder". Btw I grew up without a father, and would still have his dad to embarrass me in front of the whole world...

Since then lots of things had happened, and Chris once said he cannot believe that Michael Bisping is the champion.

Believe "you me" buddy, he is.

Have some patience with it... All things are difficult before they become easy...

It was an "easy" road for Chris, MMA wise of course... He did struggle like most who later made it big... It was said long before he was a champion that the throne will be under his control one day. And all of you were right!

I like what he brings to the table, and the people of New York and most Americans do 2! I give him props for working hard and living that dream. Well deserved Sir!

This was his 3rd time-fighting in the state of New York, and if he lost I think he would probably retire. Like Mike Tyson once said,

"I'm not gonna disrespect this sport anymore, by losing to this caliber of fighters"

Well said, Mike! But the thing is Chris was in his prime practically his whole career if you ask me. He was beaten in his prime, 3 times in a row... A few more guys are out there on the roster who made that "fall from grace" a big success, but the lights are on you "All-American"!

I was a fan until the Gegard Mousasi fight, yeah I said it!

It was clear as a day that Chris was in a panic mode and tried to "con" the judges... NO, GO! It's like getting spam comments from trolls...

It was a message that opened my eyes, Chris is a bit lost like Luke Rockhold said. After his first defeat in MMA, things did change for "The Viking" for the worst I guess...

After the Romero fight, I heard his wife asked him a week later:

Marivi: Hey Honey, what would you like for dinner?

Chris: how about some knees?

Marivi:

The same thing happened 6 months later... Only a different answer...

Chris: "How about some "Gegard with cheese"?😂

These people are something like the crazy Irish fans (best positive way:) Éire Abú! But I like how they treat Chris after all the s%$= he "was through". I really like it, and "mah man Frank," said it all the beginning...

Chris won his last fight tonight against Kelvin Gastelum who is, in my opinion, one of the smallest middleweights around. 3rd Round submission. Kelvin was afraid to go up at 185, still, a huge hype behind him leading to this fight... And Chris kinda got that hype now, got "his hype back"...🔥

He said in the post fight interview: "These other dudes keep doubting me, I dare you... Keep doubting me!"
