Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavaliers Game 3 Preview

Game 1 & Game 2

This series could be summed up with one word: blowout. Game 1 was "only" 13 points difference, but in Game 2 Cleveland won 130-86!

Isaiah Thomas

Isaiah Thomas will miss the remainder of this year’s postseason following re-aggravation of a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear during Game 2. What does it mean for the Celtics?
Thomas earned All-NBA second-team honors this week after averaging 28.9 points and 5.9 assists over 33.8 minutes per game during the regular season. His play led the Celtics to the best record in the Eastern Conference.
During the series vs Cavs he had problems with scoring, but I think he was a real team leader for Boston. Without him they wouldn't be here, and they know that.

Game 3

“As bad as it is for us and our group right now, it’s not over yet,” said Al Horford. “We still have Game 3. It hurts right now. It’s tough. We have that to look forward to. We just want to play better. We need to go out there and play better, compete throughout the 48 and see what happens. Our backs are against the wall, and this will be a good opportunity.

As Horford said, they are against the wall and they must improve their game. But on the other hand Cleveland will play at home, and they will do their best to sweep Boston. They know that the real game will start in the finals, so they don't want any tight game, because losing 1 game is equal to less rest before GSW.

My prediction

I'm big fan of Boston, but I must say:
Another blowout. Celtics know that without Isaiah and on Clevelend court they have almost 0 chances to win this game. There are 2 scenarios:
1)Boston has better % from FG, and it will be around 6-10points win for Cavs.
2)Boston struggles and we will have another blowout.
I would say that Cavs will win by 15-20points.
