I really can not find a way to summarize in a few paragraphs all the achievements made with this player, to start this short biography I must mention that he began his career in the youth team of Calcio Padova, club he arrived in 1988 and with which he debuted as professional three years later. He arrives transferred to the Italian club Juventus F.C. in 1993 where he remained until 2012. With the Turin club he won twelve national titles (six Serie A, one Serie B, one Italy Cup, four Italian Super Cups) and four internationally (one UEFA Champions League, one European Supercup, Intercontinental Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup and the 2006 World Cup against France).
He has the record of being the player with the most matches and more goals scored with the Juventus shirt, and is ranked ninth in the history of scorers in Serie A with 188 goals and twelfth of the Champions League of the UEFA with 44 annotations. In September 2012 he was signed by the Sydney Football Club for two seasons. His last team was the Delhi Dynamos, with which he retired in 2014.

And good to conclude I'll give you a little explanation of where the nickname of PINTURICCHIO comes from
Del Piero had received the nickname of 'Pinturicchio' that put him the late Juventus patron Giovanni Agnelli following the tradition that years before had inaugurated when he described his then French player Michel Platini as the 'Raffaello' of football.

For Agnelli, Del Piero was the continuation of the magic of Platini and, therefore, gave the name of 'Pinturicchio' in memory of the painter Bernardino Di Betto (1454-1513), who helped Perugino (teacher also of Raffaello) in the realization of some of the wonderful frescoes of the impressive Sistine Chapel of the Vatican City.

'Pinturicchio' Di Betto is famous for the fantastic motifs he drew with his brushes. And Del Piero's boots already from very young drew actions and goals full of fantasy and beauty.
To conclude this publication, the Juventus star will be part of a select club with names like Roberto Baggio, Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi and Gianluca Vialli.

500 matches played with the JUVENTUS F.C.

It has been an honor to have written your achievements pinturicchio, I hope to see you again in the juve as a technician or manager. il capitano per semper
