Los Angeles really did defeat twice the solid team Golden State Warriors. On their first encounter, we can see that almost the core superstars on both teams did participate in the game. It is more like a measurement on both sides on how much they can play towards opposing team. Stephen Curry did some explosive three-point shots as well as Klay Thompson while Kevin Durant focuses most on the field goal shooting.
LeBron James also played the game but did not stress out too much. Brandon Ingram was tasked to do most of the works for the Los Angeles Lakers. Aside from Ingram, we can see potential growth on both Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Los Angeles Lakers still have promising young stars that are still growing towards their prime. If developed well then Los Angeles Lakers will rise up again to their glory with the initiative of Magic Johnson.
On their second encounter, the Lakers once again won with mostly the efforts of Kyle Kuzma and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. They are engaging too much on the offensive play and been performing too well on it. Durant and Iguodala of Golden State Warriors didn't play the game while on Los Angeles Lakers players LeBron James, Rondo, and Ingram did not play their last preseason match.
This coming October 19, Los Angeles Lakers will face Portland Trail Blazers in the regular season while on October 17, Golden State Warriors will face Oklahoma City Thunder.
