Son, The Best Footballer in Asia for the third time

Tottenham Hotspur striker from South Korea, Son Heung-min, was awarded the Asia Player of the Year 2017 on Tuesday 24 April 2018.

For Son Heung-min, this year's title completes his hat-trick after he won a similar award in Asia Player of the Year Awards 2014 and 2015. The Asian Player of the Year award was initiated by Chinese media giant Titan Sports since 2013.

This concept is inspired by Ballon d'Or World of the Year players. Options are selected based on a panel containing football players, from members of the Asian Football Council (AFC).

Titan Sports awarded the Best Footballer in Asia 2017 trophy to Son Heung-min, the winner, in Tottenham Hotspur training center in London. It is the 5th edition of BFA and the 3rd time Son Heung-min wins the trophy after 2014 and 2015. Congratulations!
