In perhaps the most stunning upset in the history of Women's Basketball, the Mississippi State Bulldogs ended the four-year reign of terror by the UConn Huskies.
The Bulldogs led by as many as 16 points during the first half, but saw that lead erased by the midway point of the third quarter. Victoria Vivians was instrumental in the victory, hitting a clutch three-pointer late in the fourth quarter.
Neither team could secure a victory during regulation, leaving the score tied at 60 going into overtime. After a controversial flagrant foul call that threatened to mar the game, Morgan William - the shortest player on the court at 5'5" - hit a bucket at the buzzer to win 66 to 64.
The Championship Final of the NCAA Tournament will pit the Bulldogs against the Gamecock of South Carolina.
Great game and hats off to Mississippi State. And it's probably a win for Women's college basketball!!!

I haven't watched a full women's game all year, but that was incredible. Super fun to watch.
