Gruden Official Story About Oakland Raiders Return

I know that it has been an open secret that Jon Gruden was returning to be the new Raiders head coach. Here’s the official story. It’s a move that Al Davis would’ve been proud of his son Mark for making. Keep in mind that Gruden never wanted to leave the Raiders. He was traded, not fired.

    Also important to remember that they interviewed Bellicheat at the same time that they interviewed Gruden. Ironically, Gruden last coached a Raider game versus Bill and the Pats. If this reverses the tuck rule curse then I'm all in!

      I didn’t know that Belichick interview for the Raiders job back then. Interesting. That snowy tuck rule game sure changed a lot of people’s destiny. Lol yes I also hope this will reverse the tuck rule curse.

        Yup, Amy Trask wanted Bill but Al went Gruden. Trask also never wanted to trade Gruden but Al always had the final say.
