Lucciano Moggi, the former Italian transfer guru has a new mission in his life. The 80-year old who received a lifetime ban from Italian football due to his involvement with the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, is aiming to turn the Albanian team of FK Partizani Tirana into “a little Juventus.”
The former Juventus managing director is officially appointed as an adviser to the president of the club, but in fact he is the man who's pulling the strings in the club.
Moggi has appointed former Juventus defender Mark Iuliano as the head coach of the team and has assembled eight players from the Italian Serie B teams in order to make a competitive roster in order to win the Albanian Superliga.
Partizani is one of the most successful Albanian clubs as they have won the national league 15 times, last time in 1993.
