At the end of the day utd still second. As for liverpool...😹

Do you think Man U will win the league? I know it's early days but City are looking unbeatable.

Well, last season they were looking unbeatable too and they had "won" the league in September, but we all know how that ended.

I think it's too early to tell still.

I agree completely, but if I were a gambling man, I'd put my money on City. Which I would have done this time last season, too, haha.

Yeah, I'm not a Liverpool supporter, but I can't see them winning the league until something dramatic happens at Anfield. I'm old enough to remember Liverpool's dominance and Man Utd's struggle to keep up in the 1980s, but I think those days are over for Liverpool, and for Man U, they have to keep up with other teams now.

In the 80`s Liverpool had the 2nd best player in the world to Maradona otherwards King Kenny and Fergie was slowly building his Red Empire after the Mexico 86 World Cup with Scotland. Liverpool are like Arsenal always built up bigger than they are now with the media and football pundits too. I think before the start of the season Man City and Utd were out to disturb Spurs start to the season by unsettling many of their players with fake interest. If Harry Kane stays injured free this season and they adjust more quickly to Wembley they will win the EPL. What better than winning the EPL during your season at Wembley and then taking it home to the new stadium at the Lane.

Liverpool had more than Dalgleish in the 80s. World class from 1-11.
Anyway, I hope you're right and Tottenham win the PL. My team aren't there and so it'd be refreshing to see them win it. After all, they've been knocking at the door for a while now.

I once watched a interview with Alan Hansen like many years ago. What he said Dalglish was the best player he ever trained, played and seen. In the 80s they were totally a solid unit Liverpool.

Hansen was a quality defender, as was Lawrenson. Sourness and Rush to name a few more. Grobbellar in goal. John Barnes and Aldridge towards the end of 80s.
Amazing team

John Aldridge will always been remembered for the 1st man to miss a penalty kick in a FA Cup Final at Wembley. 20 years next May remembered that spot kick like yesterday with Dave Beasant diving to his left and the Lawrie Sanchez winning heading goal too.

30 years! It's unreal how fast it's gone. I left school that year, haha. That was when the FA Cup meant something, as well.

I was in my 1st year at high school. The long summer holidays you had as a kid seemed to be endless and as soon as you left school. It`s like boom, time stops for no one. That is when football was football for players, the fans, the people and the community. Sadly it sold itself out to the devious system of business billionaires.
