From what I have heard Clemson relies on explosive plays, something Texas does a good job of shutting down and they struggle against the run. I am of the opinion that the Texas defense is so good that against all but the best offenses that if Texas scores three touchdowns without turnovers then they win. I think the same applies tomorrow and this may be a good matchup for Texas.
What I like to see a little of tomorrow is a Manning package. I thought at the beginning of the year that there should be a Manning package for short yardage and goaline situations. Ideally, they have been working on a more comprehensive package so that Manning can come in and lead a drive or two. With Sark's ingenuity and Manning athletic skills it would be great to see what they do with that.
Anyway I am hoping that Texas has them put away in the fourth quarter and we can start planning of Arizona State. Be nice if Ewers plays his role as a game manager effectively and we can have more confidence in him. I definitely like this 12 team playoffs over what we have had in the past. Gives us this chance tomorrow. Go Horns!!
