The fourth referee is a French court, Clement Turpin. Meanwhile, additional referees came from Serbia, Nenad Djokic and Danilo Grujic.
This is the first time Mazic leads the Champions League final. In the previous edition, UEFA appointed Felix Brych (Germany) as the referee when Real Madrid won 4-1 over Juventus.

Mazic has the experience of leading a final party. At the 2017 Confederations Cup, Mazic was named court in the match between Germany against Chile.
Mazic began his professional career since 2006 in the Serbian league. In 2009, the 45-year-old judge was registered as FIFA's referee and two years later as a Uefa referee.
