NFL makes crucial rule change in offseason as officials can review non-calls and coaches can now challenge them as well.

NFL made a crucial rule change this offseason on March 26th as they will now allow non-calls to be reviewed and challenged. This rule change is great for the NFL as they have had a list of games where no calls were made, just like the NFC championship game where a receiver got hit before the football got to him. After that game every NFL fan and even NFL players said that 100% should’ve been a flag. The NFL also missed a lot of helmet to helmet calls. I’m sure that this rule will make sure that the referees won’t miss a call, and football fans are glad because their teams have gotten robbed of wins. I was awaiting the NFL to do something to change the game for a long time and this new rule will change outcomes of games and make things more exciting. NFL fans get ready to cheer louder than ever this season. I wonder why it took the NFL so long to implement this rule? Fans and players would’ve loved this rule 3 years ago, and we wouldn’t have fans, reporters, and players complaining about no calls all the time. They all the time “If this was called they would’ve won” we hear this every NFL season on missed calls. Yes the referees are human too, but there was no way with a ref on the sideline seeing the hit in the NFC championship game there should’ve been a flag there, but the ref decided not to throw the flag. NFL fans let know will this rule help the NFL? They can also say after review that it wasn’t a penalty and the fans and players know that is 100% a penalty.
