What are the plans for the Redskins first round draft pick?

The Redskins last season during the game vs the Houston Texans lost Alex Smith due to a left leg injury. Ever since then talks have been going around about them possibly taking a quarterback in this April’s draft; rumors have also been flying around about the Redskins trading for Josh Rosen quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. Earlier this offseason Redskins traded for quarterback Case Keenum who played for the Denver Broncos last season, Keenum had his best year with the Vikings in 2017 tossing 22 touchdowns passes and throwing 7 interceptions. Vikings fans remember the Minnesota Miracle where Case Keenum threw a back shoulder pass to Steffon Diggs who caught the ball and was expecting to get tackled by the safety coming toward him, that play was the most amazing thing Vikings fans have ever seen in this generation. Keenum is 31 years old but provides the Redskins need at quarterback, and could possibly be their starter going into 2019 over Colt McCoy who also got hurt last year in a game vs the Philadelphia Eagles. The question remains are the Redskins going to get a receiver for Keenum to throw to as the Redskins had one of the worst receiving cores in the NFL in 2017 and 2018 with no receivers having over 1,000 yards since Desean Jackson and Pierre Garćon back in the 2016 NFL season; and if the Skins are looking to have a top 10 offense they need some receivers to help their quarterback. Washington needs to win now and it’s not going to happen if they don’t get a Wide receiver in the draft or free agency.
