Couldn't be more accurate. It makes it nearly impossible for the small market teams to compete against large market teams during free agency.
On the flip side it does add way more excitement to the league each year because of all the movement. The NBA is clearly the players league, which is a good thing when you compare it to the NFL. Those guys struggle to get adequate life insurance after smashing their heads together for years to only make the owners even more rich.
I am always pro-players. But the NBA deal just seems bad for everyone involved (well relatively because we are still talking about millionaires and billionaires) .
