At least that is what it looks like right now. Partly due to the success of our compatriot Max Verstappen, the Zandvoort circuit started a lobby to bring Formula 1 back to the Netherlands.

That takes a lot of money, so sponsors had to be approached. But also the infrastructure of and around the circuit must of course be right. Extensive plans were submitted for this purpose to Formula One Management Limited, owner of Formula 1.

They have now made the Circuit of Zandvoort a concrete offer to organize a Grand Prix already in 2020.

Dutch prince can lobby and how!

Prince Bernhard van Oranje, who also owns the Zandvoort circuit, confirms the action of the Formula 1 summit. According to him, it is only a matter of placing a signature.

I am curious and hopeful! How cool to be able to watch Max Verstappen in his own country. And to experience live how frenzied the Dutch F1 fans can be.

Fingers crossed!

'According to him, it is only a matter of placing a signature'.

Do you know what he smoked and drunk when he said this? Must have been some real heavy stuff.

🤣 It is the Netherlands after all

Don't get me wrong; would like to see the whole circus here in Holland as well. But I think Bernard is heavily overrating things with his statement.
As Dirty Harry would say: 'A man should know his limitations'.

These are magnificent and exquisite =)

That would be soooo cool, and really nearby!
