Sri Lanka beat South Africa by three runs in the fourth one-dayer in Kandy The match ended in a 11-match series against the Proteas in the Champions League

South Africa needed eight runs in the last over to win. Dangerous batsman like David Miller was standing at the wicket. But Suranga Lakmal II got rid of Miller and struggled with the fight. But the last two batsmen of the Proteas could not reach the final target of 8 runs. Laxman spent the last over with only 4 runs against Sri Lanka's Proteas.

Sri Lanka won by 3 runs in the fourth match of the One Day International in Kandy. This is their first win after South Africa's 11-match defeat. Earlier, batting first, 306 runs from 7 wickets were scored, Dashun Shankar scored 65 runs from 34 balls. In addition, Kushal Perera and Thesira Perera picked up FIFT.
