PHOENIX -- Third baseman Jake Lamb received a $4,275,000 contract Friday as one of the Arizona Diamondbacks to reach one-year agreements and avoid salary arbitration.

That's a nice raise from his 2017 salary of $573,300.

Right-hander Shelby Miller asked the team for $4.9 million while the club offered $4.7 million as they exchanged figures.
