This weekend the regular season of the NBA finishes up. I posted about the new playoff format a few weeks back and it looks like we could be in for an exciting weekend to see how the seeding ends up.
Eastern Conference
Currently, the Eastern Conference is up to grabs to see who ends up in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The 76ers lead by one game over the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks are only 2 games back from the 76ers with two games left. There's also a battle for the 4 seed as the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks are all vying for the 4 spot.
The Washington Wizards are in pretty good shape to be the 10 seed for the play in game as long as they completely fall apart and let the Bulls win both and Washington lose both.
Western Conference
The Western Conference is a little easier to break down what may ultimately play out. The Spurs have the 10 seed on lock. Golden State and Memphis will battle out for the 8 seed. The Lakers, Dallas, and Portland could end up as low as the 7 seed or as high as the 5 seed. Denver could jump the Clippers for the 3 seed, but the Clippers could snag the 2 seed if the Suns falter. Utah should get the 1 seed if they win out but Phoenix could possibly end up with it if something weird happens.
It'll be interesting to see how it plays out!
