The Sedins wrote a nice letter to Canucks fans like myself that got published today.

Last year, I could see that Father Time was beginning to take a hold of the Sedins. It wasn't a fun season to be a Canucks fan. Injuries and illnesses sure killed the season. But the Sedins, classy as always, repeated they will only play for the Canucks. I think they know this could be their last NHL season.

It's great to know they regard Vancouver as being their home. Hell, I haven't lived in the Vancouver area in 22 years, and the Vancouver area is still home to me.

I don't know what the future holds for the Sedins, but I like what I'm seeing from the Canucks younger players thus far. Could they emerge before the Sedins leave the NHL and contend for a Stanley Cup? That remains to be seen. But I suppose we should all appreciate the Sedins while we can.

NHL careers never last forever.

It's a shame that couldn't win a cup. Some of those teams they were on were absolutely deadly. Wish they could have pulled it off against Boston. I think they are one of the coolest stories in NHL history. I doubt we will ever see anything like them again.

They're not done yet. If the young guys emerge on the Canucks, who knows? Maybe they can still win one.

Agree with you completely we will never see anything like them again!

Nice! Thanks!

Having them impedes the rebuild the Canucks need. To much $ tied up there with them don't u think? They've definately lost a couple steps but they are classy guys for sure.

They aren't tied into a long term contract. You need to have some veterans around. Depending on how they play this year, they could be back for one more year at a reduced rate and role.

Also Shaun check my last post. We got big things poppin!

Just did.... it sounds interesting! Looking forward to see where it goes!
