Iowa bans biological males from women's sports

Finally some sensibility in the sporting world. I've been very vocal about this in the past few writeups because of the obvious unfairness of it all. I've heard testimonials from parents whose daughters have given up on a lifelong sport passion because transgenders started to be allowed in the events and of course the dominate said sport and this demoralizes the young women and girls from even bothering to try to compete in something that they cannot possibly win.

Iowa has become the 11th state to enact such a law and now at least in my opinion and many others, we only have 39 more to go. The fact that anyone can look at the insane level of advantage that a transgender has in women's sports and turn a blind eye or try to deny the biological advantage is in my mind, pure insanity.

Iowa's governor Kim Reynolds signed the legislation into law in March of 2022 and this was mostly supported by the population of Iowa.

Some people out there make the very weak argument that by supporting this that anyone who does so is anti-trans or transphobic and while I am sure there are some people out there that genuinely feel this way, they are a very small minority. I, and most other people support a person's right to be and do whatever they want to provided it doesn't negatively impact the lives of others. If you want to be transgender then I support you in that process. What I DO NOT support is a transgender ruining the sporting opportunities of biological females by entering into competitions with a clear and obvious advantage in said competition. Denial of said advantage is pure stupidity.

We have seen athletes time and time again who are average or just slightly above average competitors in their biological division (male) rise to the very top once they transition over to their new gender (female.) Various individuals have tried to say that testosterone levels, once reduced, eliminate the biological advantage.

I'm not a scientist but if that is the case than how can you explain that literally every single male to female transgender athlete moves over and then absolutely dominates the same sport but as a new gender? There's a lot more to it than just testosterone levels.

Kaitlyn Jenner, who is the most famous transgender of all time to most people, shocked the world when she spoke out AGAINST transgenders competing in women's sports. Of course the transgender community immediately went on the offensive calling her a traitor.

If transgender people want to compete in competitive sporting events then I say they can and should be allowed to do so but only against other transgender athletes. Care to venture a guess as to why there is no push in the transgender athlete community to make something like this happen? It's because if that did exist, there would be no advantage anymore... the same advantage that some activists claim doesn't exist. It's not about being pro or anti-trans, it is about fairness and someone who was born a male has a distinct advantage athletically speaking.

Well done Iowa. You've done the right thing here.
