Can DMACK win WRC event this season?

Hi, Steemers!

Evans running on DMACK tyres lost win in Argentina by only 0.7 seconds.

It proves that their soft tyre is good enough to challange for a wins on gravel events.

But can they do it? Hard question. All the machinery and money behind big brands like Michelin and Pirelli give you all the confidence that teams need for themselves.

DMACK is relatively small company (I also use DMACK tarmac slicks) and they're developing very fast.

Many privateers are looking to change their Michelins for DMACKs.

One of them is Mads Ostberg who runs privately Ford Fiesta WRC 2017 this season. He's not works driver anymore.

Dick Cormack (owner of DMACK) wants to work with works teams and M-Sport is half a works team. Ford is officially still out of the works scheme. And when you see that M-Sport with DMACK tyres is the best placed Ford Fiesta on leader board, it's time to start thinking about change.

Malcolm Wilson (head of M-Sport) denies any change from Michelins to DMACK. Sponsorships have very strong ties here.

And remember: Malcolm Wilson owns 25% of DMACK company.
