At this point we are getting a clearer picture of contenders, pretenders, and teams that pray to sneak out enough games to get a spot in some crappy bowl that most people have never heard of before. There are 17 remaining undefeated teams and only UTSA is unranked, most likely due to a weaker schedule and only playing three games. We are starting to see some separation of the Top 4 teams from the rest of the pack, due to each team winning at least one quality game. USC was the highest ranked team to lose, dropping to 17. Washington State, who beat them rises to 6. There are six teams from the Group of 5, with San Diego State at 5 taking the top G5 spot from South Florida at 8. The Sun Belt makes their first appearance in this ranking with the Trojans ranked at 21 after beating LSU.
