| Transfers that will change the Bundesliga

in sports •  7 years ago  (edited)

The Bundesliga will not be the same: Philipp Lahm and Khabier Alonso have finished their career, Claudio Bosio and Chicharito have left, but James, Jr. Klinsmann came and maybe we'll see Mario Gotze again soon. I will allocate five of transfers that will make the German championship a little different.

James Rodriguez (from "Real M" to "Bayern" rented out for €10m)

Rummenigge certainly would not mind recruiting all new stars of Germany U-23 from Joachim Low's bid for the Confederations Cup, but only Niklas Sule managed to get it from the desired. While the Bayern's patron was busy with the future of the club, Ancelotti was building up the present (apparently realizing that he had two more attempts to take the Champions League, as was the case with Guardiola, nobody was going to him, but to continue to win only gold doubles with this coach, Bayern is too boring). At the official presentation, the Italian specialist vigorously shook hands with the player he wanted to see in Munich a year ago. James came to the Bayern for the game practice, the lack of which was badly beaten by the vanity of the Colombian in Real Madrid recently. In the position of tens the king looks Thiago, the sluggishness of midfielders-veterans Robben and Ribery looks deceptive, and Thomas Muller in his worst season gives 14 assists. It is waited to be another very difficult year for James too.

Corentin Tolisso (from "Lyonnais" to "Bayern" for €41.5m)

The most expensive purchase in the history of the Bundesliga. Bayern was not embarrassed by the obvious failure with the expensive transfer of Renato Sanches, and a year later the Munichers again decided to take a risk, having acquired for a record amount of a similarly functional 22-year-old Frenchman. Justifying these expenses, the club referred to the universality of Tolisso and his ability to close several positions at once. At the same time, they did not try and do not try to consider the new Khabier Alonso, because he is like Franck Ribery in the style of the game and his propensity for sharpening programs. The transfer of Tolisso is intended to solve a few more in-club issues. Javier Martinez can finally retire to the center of defense and strengthen competition there, and Joshua Kimmich will finally try to become what he is destined to be - Germany's best extreme defender. Picking up the middle line is over - it will be possible move on to finding high-class wengers.

Sven Bender (from "Borussia" to "Bayer" for €12.5m)

No other options, except for the Bayer, Sven did not consider, and as soon as the proposal came, he asked the leadership of Dortmund to let him play in a team with his brother. The last time Lars and Sven went together on the field in the Munich-1860, which happened, it was in this offseason lost his professional status and collapsed in the regional league because of financial problems. The first test match after the reunion of the brothers failed, losing Lazio - 1:3.

Bruma (from "Galatasaray" to "Leipzig" for €12.5m)

Out of 12 newcomers who switched to Leipzig in the summer, there is not a single player older than 23 years. Bruma 22, and he along with the 20-year-old Frenchman Augustin powerful support to Timo Werner in the attack. Ralf Hazenhuttl and Ralf Rangnick, fascinated by the technique and rigidity of the winger Galatasaray, as well as the perfect combination of athleticism and lightness, perhaps in vain gave up on the uneasy character of the Portuguese, signing with him a contract. The risk of inviting such an explosive player is justified.

Jhon Cordoba (from "Mainz" to "Cologne" for €17m)

For the average striker without any bright features, which also never scored more than 5 goals per season, Cologne laid out a limit for itself an amount. What Cordoba so liked "effets". Cologne sold Modeste to China (will receive from this in the amount of about €35m) and for some reason all told about it. The sports director of the Mainz, Rouven Schroder, quickly realized that selling the Cordoba for €6m to these guys does not make any sense, because you can get three times more money out of the wealthy Cologne. And then another question with an asterisk - why Cologne agreed to satisfy groundlessly overstated financial demands of Mainz? We hope that the answers will be in the near future.

What important transfers would you add to this list?
