Arsenal surprised Chelsea by beating him with a clean goal, on Wednesday evening, in the 36th round of the English Premier League.
Emile Smith Rowe scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute.
Arsenal's score rose to 55 points in eighth place, while Chelsea's score stuck at 64 points in fourth place.
A fatal blunder
Chelsea started the match offensively, from the sixth minute, when Mont got a pass from Pulisic, to shoot a ball in the place where German goalkeeper Bernd Leno had stopped.
Chelsea missed a fairy tale opportunity to open the scoring in the 11th minute, when Jorginho passed the ball to Havertz, who took the ball from midfield and was alone with the goalkeeper, but he shot over the goal.
Jorginho committed a fatal mistake in the 16th minute, when he returned the ball in a hasty way back, to be carried away by goalkeeper Kiba Arizabalaga before it crossed the goal line, but it reached Obamyang, who passed it to Smith Roe, so what was the last but to deposit it the net.
Chelsea's performance improved with the passage of time, so Pulisic rushed to the Azpilicuita pass on the right side, sending the ball into the penalty area to Mont, who fired a shot that Pablo Marie stood in front of him in the 22nd minute.
Chelsea's attack
and Monte returned to threaten Arsenal's goal in the 28th minute, when he received a pass from Havertz, to fire a shot that was deflected by Lino at the right time.
Chilwell kept the ball despite pressure from Saka, before sending the ball to Mont, who shot it, but Nani tried without reaching the ball in the 36th minute.
Chelsea made an early substitution, with which Callum Hudson-Odoi entered Gilmore's place, and Chelsea's players demanded a penalty kick in the 48th minute. After Havertz fell into the area, the referee ordered him to continue playing.
Chelsea continued its resurgence, but without forming a real danger, until the 61st minute, when Pulisic scored a goal that the referee canceled with the help of video technology due to the presence of offside.
French striker Olivier Giroud entered the place of Havertz in the Chelsea squad, while Shaka dropped out of Arsenal's squad to replace Pelerin.
Desperate attempts
and Arsenal's reliance on counter-attacks left Turney from one of them on the left, sending a ball past Aubameyang, to reach Odegaard, who shot it over the goal in the 71st minute.
Chelsea continued his substitutions, with Moroccan Hakim Ziyech entering the place of Azpilicuita, while Arsenal joined French striker Alexandre Lacazette in place of Aubameyang, who seemed resentful of the decision.
James made his way on the right wing before directing a cross, which Gero followed next to his former club Arsenal's goal in the 81st minute. The
injury forced Bellerin out of the field 3 minutes before the end of normal time, and Callum Chambers came in for him.
The crossbar, in two batches, prevented Chelsea from achieving a draw in the last minute, when he blocked Zuma's header, before the ball reached Giro, who shot it directly to bounce off the bar as well.
