Thailand to seek specialists’ advice

Bangladesh's pro all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan traveled to Thailand yesterday night to look for guidance from orthopedics specialists on the damage to his little finger.

Bangladesh Cricket Board is anxious for Shakib's cooperation from the earliest starting point of the competition which begins on March 6 with Bangladesh's opening apparatus to be played on March 8 against India.

"Shakib left for Thailand yesterday night to look for an alternate supposition. He has meetings with two orthopedic specialists in Thailand today. He will return after that and we trust that he will leave with the squad for Sri Lanka," BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury educated today.

With eight days staying before Bangladesh's opening match, it is as yet unverifiable whether Shakib can highlight from the earliest starting point of the competition. The Tigers' experience a preparation camp on March 2 and Shakib is relied upon to come back to the nation and join the squad which will withdraw for Sri Lanka on March 4.

The all-rounder endured the damage amid Tigers' misfortune to Sri Lanka in the last of the tri-arrangement ODI arrangement a month ago.
