World League in Waterpolo is taking place in Belgrade Serbia this year. Competition in established in 2002 where Serbia won a lot of gold medals, Montenegro took 2 and Croatia 1 came to quarter final. Favorites did not let us down this year too as Croatia, Serbia and Hungary qualified for quarter final. Montenegro did not compete in this world league.

Spain - Khazahstan 19:15
Canada - Serbia 21.00
All games are taking place at "Tasmajdan" open swimming pool in Belgrade. I hope thunderstorm will avoid Belgrade today, because few days ago Serbian and Australian players ran away from heavy thunderstorm and game was postponed for some time. If thunderstorm like two days ago repeats we could easy end up in watching swimming cars on streets instead of Waterpolo players. LoL
Countries like Japan, Australia and Canada play a lot better this sport than before. I saw beginning of game between Serbia and Australia and easy goals scored by Australia who lead 3:0 in first quarter. Canada and Japan are not only cannon fodder any more and favorites need to play full strength if they mean to eliminate them. Only Kazakhstan looked bad in this competition.
Despite that fact I expect no less than Serbia, Croatia, Hungary and Spain come to semi final. Then things will become more interesting because those squads are close to each other.
