UNC will face Duke for the third time this season in today's semifinal matchup in the ACC tournament. Both teams won on their home court during the regular season and there will be a lot a stake in today's match up. With Duke ranked 5th and UNC ranked 12th, this game will have serious seeding implications when it's time for the Selection Show on Sunday.

Yesterday the Tarheels avenged their loss on senior night to Miami with a dominating 82-65 win. Theo Pinson scored a career high 25 points to go along with his 11 rebounds. UNC beat Syrcacuse 78-59 on Wednesday, so this will be their third straight game in as many days.
Playing 3 straight days makes the tough task of beating Duke even tougher. Duke has been enjoying success on the defensive end of the court as of late due to switching mainly to a zone defense. UNC has some great shooters and they will have to shoot great today to have success against Duke's zone defense. The Tarheels have a shot to upset Duke, but they will play on no matter what happens today as last year they lost to Duke in the ACC tournament and went on to win the NCAA tournament.
