Bottas wins his first F1 race

As usual (when not on vacation or playing with princess) I was watching my Sunday Formula 1 portion. It was a tight race today at the end in Russia but Sebastian Vettel could not overtake Valtteri Bottas anymore.

Congratulations Valtteri for the first Formula 1 race win in your career!

Bottas dominated the race and especially his Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton who ended at the No. 4 spot only. Sebastian Vettel is still topping the overall championship ranking with Ferrari.

About the Winner

Valtteri Bottas is a Finnish F1 driver currently with the Mercedes Grand Prix team. Before joining the German team he previously drove for Williams. Will Valtteri fight for the World Championship this year?

Who do you think Steemians will become World Champions this year?

The Barcelona Grand Prix is next in 2 weeks - usually a very important race to indicate the real strength of the F1 teams moving forward. Watch this space Formula 1 fans.

Thank You for the update, used to watch F1 passionately , but not so much last few years.

you are welcome, same here since the Princess joined our life, used to watch every training session in the past, now happy to watch some races per year 🛠🏁

I wish Verstappen would win, but am sure will do sometime in the future, but not in the Red Bull car.

you mean the championship? Well he has talent no doubt - and in #F1 you also need to have luck with your current teams, we will see - he is very young still

Indeed and Agree! :)

Not that he is Dutch, but he is the kind of F1 driver I like; Very aggressive and not easy satisfied with his results; As a person (from interviews) I like his style!

He is indeed very young still!

Yeah - he is ambitious - you need to be that way, reminds me about the young Senna and young Schumacher

Absolutely! :)
