Recently promoted side Leeds United are making a statement by shattering their previous club record transfer fee. Leeds United have signed Rodrigo for a reported fee of £27 million.
Rodrigo a Spain International played for Spanish side Valencia, signed a contract until 2024. Rodrigo scored 59 goals in 220 games for Valencia, bolsters Leeds United attack. Rodrigo was included in the Spain squad for the Nations League.
Leeds continue to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season having signed 5 players already. Leeds United are still in the market to buy some players, as they have a recently rejected deal for Brighton's Ben White.

I think it's a good thing, any team needs valuable players to stay in the EPL. The amount is a record for Leeds just because they played in the Championship for so long. Different budgets for different leagues.
