Andre Ingram always had an dream to play in the NBA. He was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed basketball at a very early age. He attended Highland Springs High School and help lead them to the Triple A championship as a senior (He averaged 22 ppg and 9 rbs). After high school, he attend American University. At American, he scored an career high 30 points against Lafayette as a freshman. He finished his college career at American as the 5th all time leading scorer (Leading the team in scoring all 4 years)!
Andre was drafted by the Utah Flash in the 7th round of the 2007 NBA Development League Draft. After 4 years with the Flash, he became the team all time leading scorer. He competed in the 2010 D league All star Three point shooting contest and won first place. In 2012 (after the Flash suspended operations), Ingram played for the L.A D-fenders. There, he shot 44% from three and help lead the D-Fenders to the West Division Championship. After 4 years with the D-fenders, Ingram signed with the Perth Wildcats for the rest of the 2016 season. After a short stint with the Wildcats, Andre signed with the L.A D-Fender/South Bay Lakers for the 2017 season. He shot an staggering 47% from three point range. On April 19, 2018, the L.A Lakers signed Ingram to a contract to play the final two games of the season. Ingram went on to score 19 points off 6-8 shooting from the field.
