The Warriors have added the great Demarcus Cousins to their championship roster. Wow, the 2018 NBA's off-season is really interesting. Demarcus and the Warriors agreed to a one year, 5 million dollar contract for the 2018-19 NBA's season. With Cousins aboard, the Warriors have 5 current All-stars on their roster (David West was a past All-star with the Hornets). A scary lineup for any team to play. Just think about it, Demarcus at center, Draymond at the power forward, Durant at small forward/power forward, Klay at shooting guard and Steph at the point. One of the best starting lineups in NBA's history. I'm sure NBA's team front offices are scratching their heads on this one. But nothing is guaranteed as Cousins is coming off an achilles injury, so it not sure how he will respond when healthy. But his past results are amazing, so hopefully he can pick up where he left off (21 points per game, 11 rebounds and 1 block a game).
Demarcus stated he decided to sign with the Warriors because no other team offer him a contract. Many believe that Cousins is taking the easier way out for a championship. But he is coming back from a very severe injury, so one could see why NBA's teams would be weary about signing him. Kobe had that same injury and sadly he was never quite the same after he recovered. Nevertheless, best wishes to Mr. Cousins for a speedy recovery. Teams are wasting no time trying to build a title contender as quickly as they can. If Cousins can continue his All star success, the Warriors will be a force for opposing teams on a nightly basis. If Golden State can stay healthy for the 2018-19 NBA's season, they are a very serious threat for the NBA's championship.
