Glen "Big Baby" Davis was a solid NBA player. He was drafted out of LSU by the Seattle SuperSonics but was quickly traded to the Boston Celtics. In Boston, he had his best years as a pro and he won the 2008 NBA championship. He also went on the play for the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers. His best season came with the 2011 Boston Celtics, where he scored 12 ppgs and 5 rbs. He has earned well over 30 million dollars in his NBA career. Not bad for an 8 year veteran. Most would consider Davis career an success. He made alot of money and also won an NBA championship as well. So what happen to Glen after playing his last season with the Clippers in 2015?
Well, Davis decided to put his NBA career on hold as he focus on film production. Sounds like a solid idea I must say. But why hasn't he made it back to the NBA since he put his career on hold. He is 32 years old and at that age you are consider old in the world of pro sports. Sadly, Glen was arrest last month (Feb 7) on drug charges. He was arrested on charges of drug possession and distribution. The court records stated the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from the room Davis was staying in. Aberdeen police found 126 grams of marijuana and 92,000 in cash in Davis's room. Davis made a video and posted it on Instagram. In the video he told his followers not to believe what they see and he will go through the court process. Well, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, so lets see how everything plays out. Nevertheless, I hope he learns a lesson from this. Sometimes you have to be faithful to the things that got you to where you are today.
