Kevin Garnett was a very talented NBA player. He could play multiple positions (SF/PF/C) and was very good in the post/mid range area (shooting nearly 50% from the field). He was a good defender (Defensive Player of the Year in 2008), especially from the weak side. Rebounding the basketball was never an issue with Garnett (averaging 10 rebounds per game). Kevin's skill set was very unique and special. You rarely seen a player at 6' 11" that could do a lot things on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Was Kevin a good teammate and role model? Hmmm, maybe not in my opinion. BUT, one thing I always respected about him was - His unique passion for the game. Garnett might start fights sometimes, he might share some harsh words here or there. But no matter what, he always wanted to win (NBA Champion with the Celtics in 2008). That I can't deny. With 15 All-Star appearances, there is no doubt that he will be an first ballot Hall of Famer.
