Larry Fitzgerald is a rare NFL talent. At wide receiver, he stands 6 feet and 3 inches tall (218 pounds). The third pick of the 2004 NFL draft, Larry had high expectations from the start. And he lived up to those high expectations, getting ready to play his 16th NFL season for the team that drafted him - The Arizona Cardinals. He had a good rookie season, catching 58 balls for 780 yards and 8 touchdowns. But Larry was just getting started. He has made 11 Pro Bowls and made the NFL's First Team All Pro (2008). Larry went on to have eight 1,000s yard seasons (lead NFL in receiving yards in 2008) . Larry had a league leading 13 touchdowns in 2009. In his 2008 season, Larry helped the Cardinals reach the SuperBowl against the eventual champions Pittsburgh Steelers. With 1,303 receptions and over 16,000 yards receiving (116 touchdowns), his NFL resume is complete.
Fitzgerald is one of the best wide receivers of his era. Larry always played hard night in and night out. He also is very reliable and a very good teammate. Nice to see he is still able to play at an high level going into his 16th NFL season. He reminds me alittle bit of Jerry Rice only because of his longevity and his work ethic. Larry = consistency! Good Luck to Larry as he gets ready for the 2019 NFL season. The next stop, the Football Hall of Fame!
