In the beginning of an NBA game, most people are use to each team starting out a little slow. Most teams are trying to build around their game plan and see how the opposing team responds as the quarter progresses. But not last night. The Golden State Warriors scored an NBA record 51 points in the 1st quarter. That right. Fifty one points in the first quarter (10 three pointers). The Warriors hit 19 of 25 shots from the field, finishing the quarter 51-38 over the Nuggets heading in the the 2nd quarter. Kevin Durant scored 17 points, Curry scored 12 and Klay had 13 (all in the first quarter). I never thought I would see the day, especially in an NBA game. The Golden State Warriors, when at their best, are a serious threat to any NBA team. The Warriors won 142-111 against the Nuggets. Also the Warriors are expected to get Demarcus Cousins into the lineup this Friday against the Clippers.
