The Philadelphia 76ers are Playoff Bound!

The Philadelphia 76ers have finally clinched their first playoff berth in six years thanks to the Indiana Pacers defeating the Miami Heat. It has been a long time coming for the 76ers and their fans. Especially after the "Trust the Process" situation, 76ers' fans have long awaited for this moment to come and it's finally here. The last time the 76ers made the playoffs was the 2011-2012 season, which was shorten due to the NBA's lockout. The 76ers are 42-30 (ranked 4th in the Eastern Conf.) with only 10 games remaining on their schedule.

"The Process" has been a long journey for 76ers' fans. Many seasons have come and gone in order to gain access to top draft picks to build a championship competing team for many years to come. This was the vision of Sam Hinkie, the former general manager and president of basketball operations for the 76ers. Sam Hinkie stepped down as Bryan Colangelo took over to speed up "The Process". So far Bryan has been successful as the 76ers are playoff bound and competing in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia has been able to acquire Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Markelle Fultz (injured) through the NBA Draft. The future looks bright for this young team. Congrats once again to the 76ers for making their goal come true.

can't wait to see what fultz does next year. They will be eliminated 1st round and have written a blue print on how to tank and hope it pays off. Who do you think they will draft this year?

I agree, I can't wait to see how fultz turns out as an NBA pro. He has the time and talent to be a good player. Hmmm, it hard to say who they may draft this coming up year. They do need some positions filled, thankfully not a lot tho. I have a feeling that some free agents could be interested in coming to play with them. Their future looks bright and they seem like an unselfish team so far.

you think lebron? klay thompson?

I believe Lebron wants to be in L.A. It will be interesting as I hear the Lakers are also interested in Isaiah thomas as well. Don't know how that would work. I believe Klay loves the Warriors so I don't think he would leave unless he didn't get along with a teammate or coach. I wouldn't write off Lebron as he would listen to the 76ers tho. The future looks bright for Philadelphia and Lebrons wants to win, so I believe he would be interested if the deal is right.
