John Wall is an elite point guard in the NBA. He was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft to the Washington Wizards. Expectations has always been high for Wall. Has he lived up to the hype, yes he has in my opinion. John Wall has been a great player since day one of his NBA career. He averaged 16 points and 8 assists as a rookie. He was a member of the All Rookie First Team. Wall also won the NBA Rookie Challenge's MVP in 2011. In 9 seasons, John has made 5 all-star teams. Wall's best season came in 2016 when he averaged 23 points and 10 assist per game. There is no doubt that John was among the best in the NBA.
Sadly, John has rupture his achilles tendon from a fall in his home. He was already out with an left heel injury (Jan 8,2019). I personally want to wish him the best in his recovery. When healthy, Wall is an top point guard in the NBA. He has averaged nearly a double-double for his NBA career (19 pts, 9 assists). Hopefully John can rehab (possibly a 12 month process) and pick up where he left off in his amazing NBA career. #GetWellSoon!
